GELLING OF GUM

Gelling of gum in the tray is a problem faced by corrugators very often.



Causes Solutions
Old gum remains at tray bottom and forms into a gell. Installation of a water jacket along with the gum tray helps to prevent gelling.
Poor quality of gum. Install a gum pumping system to ensure continuous flow of fresh gum. This will prevent gelling and give better control over the quality of gum, resulting in better output.
